Snacks :) 2 ways.... Sweet & Spicy Pretzels & Seasoned Oyster crackers

I love snacks... who doesn't... I love ones that are seasoned well and just plain taste yummy and are easy to make to boot :)  these 2 snacks are super easy to whip together and taste yummy....good for the upcoming Super Bowl parties or card clubs or any old time... the suggested seasonings are just that.. if your family doesn't like a particular seasoning just leave it out and put in what you like.... These also can be as hot as your family likes too.. I have a baby in the house so I don't go overboard on the heat...sometimes I do add a couple more pinches of cayenne & garlic & onion powder as well as an additional Tablespoon of brown sugar right before I throw these into the oven to really season them well.  Not necessary but I love seasonings... my friend Angie calls me the "spice queen"  LOL   Enjoy

Sweet & Spicy Pretzels

1 16 oz. package of small pretzel sticks
1 T. oil
1/2 stick butter, melted
1/2 pkg. dried onion soup mix
3 T. brown sugar
3 dashes hot sauce
1/4 t cayenne pepper
1 T worchester sauce
1/4 t garlic & onion powder

In large bowl place pretzels.  Microwave butter ( I use a pyrex measuring cup) add seasonings stir well.   Pour over pretzels and with 2 big spoons mix pretzels very well coating them all well.  Let pretzels soak up seasonings for about 15-20 minutes stirring well every 5 or 10 minutes.   Place on a sheet pan and spread out to an even layer.  Bake at 250 for 25 minutes stirring every 10 minutes. Remove from oven and stir.   Let cool completely and enjoy.  Put leftovers (if there are any :)  LOL in plastic containers with a lid, or a large ziploc bag.  Enjoy

Seasoned Oyster Crackers

1 1/2 packages of oyster crackers
1/2 t dill weed
1/4 cup oil
2 T. melted butter
1 pkg dry ranch seasoning mix
1/4 t each (lemon pepper, Mrs. Dash seasoning, cayenne pepper, garlic & onion powder )

Place crackers in large bowl.  Mix oil, butter and seasonings well.  Drizzle over crackers mixing well.  Place crackers on sheet pan spreading out to an even layer.  Bake at 250 for 30 minutes stirring every 10 minutes.  Remove from oven and stir.  Cool and put any leftovers in a big ziploc bag or plastic container with a lid.  Enjoy
